ABOUT THE CLASS
 

This is a training proposal developed to challenge the participant in exploring game dynamics and raising awareness in mobility work. A dynamic class structure is proposed, made up of the progressive interaction of various lines of work.  

In this workshop the principles of acrobatic mobility are studied in depth from the foundations of contemporary dance; incorporating methodologies and exercises of martial arts, gymnastics, calisthenics among others.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
 

Costa Rican dancer and choreographer graduated from the second generation of the El Barco Conservatory in 2009. He is co-founder of the Colectivo Clá group, winners of the National Dance Award for best group in 2014 for their projects both inside and outside the country. In Colectivo Clá he has participated in all productions as a choreographer and dancer, in addition to performing and having given workshops in countries such as China, France, Spain, the United States, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, among others. With Clá, he has performed at the Choreographers Festival Contest organized by the National Theater of Costa Rica, where he has twice won first place for the works El adicto and Ciebzie, as well as three consecutive years winner of the Virginia Pérez Ratón award at the same festival.
