ABOUT THE CLASS
 

Space aimed at deepening body writing, danced movement and dynamic communication between bodies and space. From concepts developed by contemporary dance, a space for games of stimulation and development of physical-expressive capacities is structured. It promotes enabling ways of contact with the environment, with breathing, with bodies, with present attention and collective play as possible routes of assuming “training” of the body for the contemporary scene.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
 

Scenic Artist. Graduated from  the School of Scenic Art of the National University (2004) and the El Barco Conservatory - National Dance Workshop (2005). He studied Yoga and Meditation at the Gaia Holistic Institute (2002 - 2004). Black Belt (Sho Dan) in Enshin Karate, being an active member of Enshin Costa Rica. In addition to dedicating himself to directing and choreography, he has developed work as a scenic creator and cultural promoter. He has dedicated himself to teaching and pedagogy, and today he continues his studies - learning continuously. His participation in the national and international contemporary scene has been developed with the Las Hijas de Otro Companies (2004 - 2015); 4pelos / losdenmedium (2001 - 2012); Tres Hermanos Project (2012 - 2018), and Cuatro X Cuatro. He has been the recipient of several awards and recognitions inside and outside of Costa Rica.

Since 2009, he has maintained a constant practice of research and exchange in the Central American region, focused on body training and contemporary dance.
