Sessions focused on addressing contemporary movement from the implementation of House Dance: footwork and torso, suspension, weight changes, speeds, fluidity, musicality. Using the basic steps and the existing sensations, we can find new ways of moving from the tools that this style offers us.
Adrián Flores is a movement lover, dancer, performer/choreographer and freelance facilitator with more than 12 years of experience. He studied contemporary dance in the Open Dance program at the University of Costa Rica and attended the Juste Debout streetdance training program in France.
His current interest is in integrating the different disciplines of movement and providing tools to find a more personal language. Among his strengths and searches are urban dance styles, especially House & Hip Hop. Floor and Acrobatic Techniques, Spatial Harmony, Animal Quality, Ecstatic Dance and Contact Improvisation.
